Several US-LTER and ILTER sites joined in a cooperative effort to address knowledge dissemination, information exchange and data services. In this short session, we present our products, use cases and experiences implementing the deeply integrative results of the Drupal LTER Ecological Information Management System (DEIMS).
By attending this broad overview of our concerted approach to a common problem will help you evaluate your options to challenges such as big, heterogeneous data and overabundance of mixed research projects. You will also learn how to phase out obsolete IT approaches and optimize scarce resources for your LTER site, laboratory or research group.
