Migrating your site digital assets into DEIMS

We will show you how we migrated five LTER sites and the ILTER site into DEIMS.  We will describe how we create an inventory of digital assets and functionality. Based on the desired outcomes, we create the mappings from the old site and databases to DEIMS, and we create the mockups of the new functionality.  We describe the migrate framework consisting of re-using boiler plate migrations adapted to the specifics of each site,  Finally, we layout the process that can run the migrations in an iterative process, without the need to freeze the assets in the current databases or websites.
