Historical Research in the LTER Network: Opportunities for Publication

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

This product oriented working group will explore options for publishing a set of cross-site LTER-related historical studies.  The working group builds on a number of LTER history sessions at various conferences, including the 2012 All Scientists Meeting, the 2013 History of Science Society Annual Meeting, and the 2015 Ecological Society of America Annual Meeting.  Following a short discussion of the state of historical research within the LTER Network, the working group will consider the best strategy for publishing some of this recent research, including consideration of overarching themes to tie different studies together and the best venue for this publication (e.g. book or journal).  All members of the LTER community with an interest in history are encouraged to attend.
