Fostering a Diverse LTER Network: Site-based strategies for diversity planning and mentoring

All LTER sites are encouraged to send at least one representative to this working group.

Agenda items will include:

• Brief overview of the activities of the LTER Diversity Committee since 2012
• Site diversity plans: rationale, process, and positive results from the VCR LTER
• Mentoring to support diversity (site models, connections to student outcomes)

Break-out groups on these topics will lead into follow-up ad-hoc lunch sessions.
