The LTER 2012 All Scientists Meeting Registration is open. Late registration is $70.00 until Sepember 1 when on-line registration will close and on-site registration is $80.00.
We have tried to keep registration costs as low as possible, even with some general meeting costs much higher than in 2009. We know some people don't drink coffee, or sodas, or alcohol or even water, and might not eat any snacks. However this fee allows us to pay for meeting incidentals that aren't or can't be covered by other funds. You have to agree that the $60-$80 costs are FAR lower than other conferences such as ESA or AGU. The fee structure is scaled not only to help us to estimate attendance and plan for it, late registrations, particularly if we go over contract limits, increase final meeting costs. Spouses and guests must register only if they will be attending mixers and breaks. Children do not need to register. ASM Registration is managed by our meeting coordinators, the Schneider Group. Note that the opportunity for registration fee refunds ends August 15.

June 15 - Poster Submission opens - late posters accepted up to the poster limit of 450
July 1 - Meeting Registration Opens - Early Registration fee is $60.00
August 1 - Working Group Submission closes - Working groups time assignment will be prioritized by submission date
August 1 - Early Meeting Registration closes - Standard Registration fee is $70.00
August 15 - Housing Reservation Closes; Room block released
August 15 - Opportunity for Registration Refunds ends
September 1 – On-line Meeting Registration closes – On-site Registration Fee is $80.00
